MARCH - SPRING TIME AND THE BASS ARE SHALLOW...FINALLY! I am catching fish from 3-15FT mostly pitching a heavy drop shot rig around the trees. Senkos, plastics, jigs are good too. There is also a crankbait bite. Now is the time to fish shallow!

MARCH - FISH SHALLOW! Fish are spawning and on beds right now. There is also a good senko bite. Guys are still throwing swimbaits and catching giants. Drop shot, texas rig plastics, and the senko are all good choices. Now is the time to go fishing!

What an unbelievable place to fish. About 1.5 hours from San Diego Diamond Valley Lake offers really good Bass fishing right now. The Bass are so healthy and strong here. Bass are in the "spring pattern" in the clear water right now and 12-20lb limits are common. We are catching them on Swimbaits, Big worms, drop shotting, jigs, and the senko. If you have not been to DVL you are missing out on some great fishing. Super fishing for any angler! Lets GO!

This little lake is in my backyard. The water is clear and the Big Bass feed on trout. A great place to throw a Big Swimbait for that fish of a lifetime and now is the time! Right now we have been catching em on swimbaits, the drop shot, senko, and c-rig. Centrally located in San Diego and easy to get to.
