Jeff and friends wanted to fish the late bite and they hit the lake with my Guide Partner Kevin at 1:00pm. Diamond Valley continues to be
great fishing and we are getting 25-40 fish a trip.
Only a couple “short” bites on the Big Swimbait as the fish seemed to be a little picky this day. I expect the early morning and late evening Swimbait and topwater bite to improve with warmer weather soon. Most of the fish came drop shoting a fluttercraft worm and Carolina rigged special bait they like here at DVL from 5-20 ft. Kevin fished bushes and points.
The water temp was 64-67. The Bass here are so strong and healthy. If you are new to Bass Fishing this is a great place to start. We can teach you a specific technique or just have fun and catch as many as we can. We have lots of spots to fish and never seem to run out of water. One thing about this place is that there are so many different ways to catch them and we have lots of spots to fish. We never seem to run out of water. Don’t wait! Give us a call. Good fishing!
